Purpose Statement:

This division encourages and promotes the development of a multi-modal transportation system that maximizes mobility of people and goods while minimizing fuel consumption and air pollution. This division serves as lead planning agency for the High Point Metropolitan Planning Organization (HPMPO) to develop transportation plans and programs for the High Point Urban Area.
