Project Scope:
1. Widen existing Old Winston Road to three lanes and curb and gutter.
2. Provide a center turning lane for the entire length of the project.
3. Realign the Oakview Road and Old Winston Road intersection.
4. Realign the East Bellevue Drive and Old Winston Road intersection.
5. Realign the North Main Street and East Bellevue Drive intersection.
6. Add turn lanes at the following intersections:
a. North Main Street and Old Winston Road (two westbound turn lanes).
b. Oakview Road and Old Winston Road.
c. Shadybrook Road and Old Winston Road.
7. Provide 5' concrete sidewalks on both sides of Old Winston Road.
8. Provide a storm drainage system along Old Winston Road.
9. Proposed to begin purchasing right-of-way and construction easements in summer 2006.
10. Proposed to begin utility relocation work once right-of-way and easements are secured.
11. Proposed to begin construction during 2007.
